The Promises of Christ for Comfort & Healing

Promise 28:    Assuredly, I say to you today you will be with Me in Paradise.

Luke 23: 43

Sweet Redeemer of my soul,

At the crucifixion, You were hung between two thieves. One thief mocked You for claiming to be the King of the Jews while the other thief recognized Your innocence. Because he acknowledged your divinity, he asked to be remembered when You came into Your kingdom.

This morning as I awoke I heard you whisper in my ear that I, too, will be with You one day in Paradise. What joy filled my heart for I know that You say nothing that is not true, promise nothing that will not be. I acknowledge You as my King and ask to be remembered when I come to Your kingdom.

I ask to be with You in Paradise.
