The Promises of Christ for Comfort & Healing  

Promise 25: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.      

Matthew 7:7 

Dear Jesus,

            You have promised  me that anything I desire shall be given to me. There is no wish that will not be granted, no goal that cannot be achieved and no door that will not open. Our Father can deny nothing to those who love Him.

            I do not have the wisdom to know what is for my highest good and often want only the pleasant and the easy. Help me to understand that I need ask for nothing for You have provided all. Help me to desire only what the Father wants for me— my eternal happiness. Help me, my Friend and Brother, to  surrender to His will in all things.

I ask to surrender.
