I tell you one thing –
If you want peace of mind,
do no find fault with others.

Rather learn to see your own faults.
Learn to make the whole world your own.

No one is a stranger, my child;
This whole world is your own.

Sri Sarada Devi (1853 – 1920) was the wife and spiritual companion of Sri Ramakrishna, the Hindu mystic and world teacher.

This simple poem contains a whole philosophy of life. The fault-finding mind will only rest in peace when we see the whole world as ourselves. That whole world includes more than just our family and friends, more than our state or nation. The whole includes all peoples, the animals, insects, plants, molecules and stars. We are all the Beloveds of All That Is.
