Promise of Christ for Comfort & Healing

Promise 12: I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me, together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with you before the world was.

John 17: 4-5

Sweet Redeemer of the World,

 “I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.” What a triumphant statement! How the heavens resounded! Your task was great. In redeeming the world You restored man to his original divinity. You showed that death has no power; only love is eternal.

When this worldly life is over, I hope that I, too, will be able to say that my work is finished as my Father desired. The glory I wish to share is to return to the Source and abide with You. Sweet Redeemer, help me to understand what it is the Father asks of me and to joyfully surrender to His will.
