The Promises of Christ for Comfort & Healing

Promise 11: Do not be afraid; only believe.

Mark 5:36

Dear Jesus,

            I am afraid of many things in life but the greatest of all is the fear of death. When I leave this world will I be filled with sorrow over what I have done in this life, or with regret for what I have failed to do? I fear that I will disappear into a great silent emptiness.

You came to earth, dear Brother, to answer all our fears by redeeming us from illusion. While your body died, You showed us that Life is eternal because it has been lit by the Father’s eternal flame. You have assured me that I, too, will never die because I am one with You and the Father. We are Eternal. If there is no death, what is there to fear?

Help Thou my unbelief.
