Promises of Christ for Comfort & Healing

Promise 30:  Do no fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Luke 12: 32 

My Dear Shepherd,

            I am one of Your little flock and it is You who I trust to keep me safe from harm. Watch over me for I am so easily led astray. If I should wander in the valley of dark despair, I ask that you search for me and lift me in Your arms.  If in my pride I walk among the high hilltops I ask you to be there when my steps falter and I fall.

            Teach me how to follow for I have not the wisdom to lead. Instead, gather me up with all my brothers and sisters. Take us to our heavenly Father who waits for our return. It is my joy to belong only to You, to follow Your steps in this world and one day to join with you in praising our Father whose kingdom has no end.
